Shell Corena S5 A is a long oil life, top tier synthetic lubricant based on polyalkylene glycol (PAG) technology and is designed for rotary screw air compressors. The product allows for longer oil drain intervals and helps to operate cleaner and efficiently in higher temperature and pressure applications in challenging operations.

Features

• Longer oil life - Shell Corena S5 A can provide oil change intervals up to 8,000-10,000 hours (where allowed by equipment manufacturer, maintenance service intervals, operating conditions, and environmental conditions).
• Compressor protection - Shell Corena S5 A provides excellent corrosion and wear protection to help prolong life of critical parts such as bearings and gears with low change in viscosity and acid number.
• Excellent system efficiency properties Shell Corena S5 A helps to handle high temperatures and pressures and cool the compressor more efficiently to help reduce equipment and fluid maintenance. The fluid also provides high flash and fire point protection with low foam tendency.
• Excellent Varnish and Sludge Control - The fluid is formulated with inherently oxidatively stable base oil and together with effective inhibitors to provide excellent resistance to varnish and sludge formulation even in harsh operating conditions.
