Slide and Cam Lubricant is specifically formulated to meet and exceed the benchmark specifications for lubricants for the Caterpillar slide and cam walking mechanism used on large draglines, specifically the 2500W Series. Slide and Cam Lubricant provides protection for the plain bearings and sliding surfaces which encounter boundary lubrication conditions during normal propel. Slide and Cam Lubricant is fortified with a proprietary Bel-Ray chemical system to provide a durable lubricating film, reducing metal-to-metal contact, and minimizing component wear under the severest operating conditions. Slide and Cam Lubricant also provides protection against rust and corrosion.
