Castrol AP Gear 85W-140 is a multipurpose gear oil for use in most trucks, LCV and Passenger cars conventional differentials, non synchronized manual transmissions and steering gears where API GL-5 performance is required. It is not recommended for Eaton, Spicer, Renault or Rockwell transmissions as those manufacturers prefer non EP transmission oils.
