Castrol Ilocut 5713 uses Castrol's chlorine replacement technology to provide a low viscosity cutting oil for machining and grinding ferrous and nonferrous alloys. This oil is especially recommended for machining small stainless steel, copper and brass parts on screw machines and Swiss-type automatics. Ilocut 5713 is compounded without the use of conventional sulfurized, chlorinated or phosphorus-based extreme pressure additives, making it an excellent choice to use when manufacturing parts for use in nuclear equipment. The clean red oil is nonstaining to copper and brass and is suitable for use in machines that require a single low viscosity oil to serve as a lubricant or spindle oil as well as the cutting oil.
