Product Information
JET-LUBE FRAC PUMP PACKING LUBRICANT is specially formulated and developed to work in the harsh and demanding environment (hydrochloric acid, n-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, etc.) within hydraulic fracturing pump packings. The consistency has been specifically designed to afford operators with the ideal mix of pumpability and adhesiveness needed for frac pump lubrication. The aluminum complex thickener utilized in JET-LUBE FRAC PUMP PACKING LUBRICANT supports service temperatures up to 350°F (177° C), while also affording excellent low temperature pumpability characteristics. FRAC PUMP PACKING LUBRICANT also provides excellent adhesion to lubricated surfaces. The semi-fluid, yet tacky consistency of JET-LUBE FRAC PUMP PACKING LUBRICANT allows the product to be easily pumped yet still stay in place when applied insuring equipment protection while reducing messes and clean up required from many fluid lubricants. In addition, the flow properties make this grease suitable for consideration in a wide range of other applications. JET-LUBE FRAC PUMP PACKING LUBRICANT has been formulated to meet the demands and service conditions encountered in frac pump packing lubrication. The additive packages and base oils used have been chosen specifically to ensure compatibility with typical rod and packing materials such as Brass, Teflon, Kevlar, Rubber, Graphite, etc. making it an ideal plunger and packing lubricant.
