JET-LUBE DRILL ROD GREASE is free of heavy metals such as copper, lead, zinc, barium, etc. that can cause environmental or occupational health concerns. It uses a highly water resistant aluminum complex grease thickener that also provides a wide temperature range for both low and high temperature drilling applications. In addition to the natural adhesiveness and water resistance additional polymers are added to enhance the performance. The tackiness is balanced to provide easy hand application when required while resisting water washoff, abrasive removal or centrifugal separation. The stringy property coupled with the adhesiveness allows ROD GREASE to coat the annulus of the hole as opposed to collecting the debris on the rod while drilling. This reduces vibration for easier drilling and fewer stuck rods. JET-LUBE DRILL ROD GREASE aids in the prevention of rod chattering and is particularly suited to minimize binding in the hole. The high water resistance allows it to last longer during drilling resulting in greater economy. It can be used for both above and below ground drilling.
