JET-LUBE TEMP GUARD Valve Sealant is a premium non-melting, synthetic based sealant and lubricant for use in a wide variety of valve types utilized in high temperature services. TEMP GUARD was previously marketed as EZY TURN HI-TEMP. JET-LUBE TEMP GUARD is formulated using an inorganic thickener in a synthetic high viscosity base fluid with a blend of graphite and molybdenum disulfide. The formula is fortified with antioxidants and rust inhibitors to augment the film forming and antioxidant properties of the synthetic base fluid. JET-LUBE TEMP GUARD is unaffected by acids, oils, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, glycols, caustics, water, steam, alcohols, and other similar solvents. It provides excellent fluid film lubrication even under extreme pressure. The blend of graphite and molybdenum disulfide provide solid film lubrication at extreme temperatures where the base fluid is lost. The non-soap inorganic thickener provides excellent chemical resistance while maintaining mechanical stability. JET-LUBE TEMP GUARD provides optimum sealability, lubricity, and torque reduction.
