NEVASTANE 6 is a general purpose food machinery oil, that makes it easy to save time and money with just the right amount of spray applied quickly and cleanly in the right places. It is formulated from USP white oils and additives which enable it to wet out on metal surfaces better than usual white oils providing better rust protection after washdown. It is resistant to acids and alkalis encountered during food processing and offers superior resistance to water and steam. NEVASTANE 6 helps to assure long machine life while reducing contamination problems as required by the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point System (HACCP). NEVASTANE 6 has been successfully used in applications such as conveyor lines, slides, guides, bearings, chains, and sanitary valves. Industries served include can making, pharmaceutical, bakeries, hospitals, breweries, textiles, fruit and vegetable packers, agriculture, poultry plants, and dairies. NSF H1 Registered meets USDA 1998 H1 Guidelines for incidental contact with food. The SafeGard Spray System is environmentally friendly because it uses no ozone depleting agents as propellants. A bladder system and air pressure forces the lubricant out delivering a fine continuous spray that can be sprayed upside down.
